Training Workshops
The RDA Europe office, in collaboration with established training providers in the Research Data Management field, is organising training workshops in support of the continued professional development of research data professionals in Europe. The workshops have been carefully developed to help data professionals grow in step with the rapidly evolving research data landscape.
Mission and Vision
The mission of RDA Europe is to inspire, cultivate and support European communities, organisations and individuals to develop and implement globally agreeable solutions to enable the sharing and re-use of research data. We strive to engage and foster multidisciplinary, multi-stakeholder and multilingual research data communities across Europe and build on the principles of the Research Data Alliance to facilitate co-operative partnership with Open Science initiatives across Europe.
This vision and mission underpins the RDA Europe Strategic Priorities 2023-2025.
Through the planned training workshops, RDA Europe endeavours to foster capacity building in the European data community. Our multilingual workshops offer continued professional development opportunities to data professionals across Europe and beyond. The workshops enable data professionals to keep building key skills and knowledge, drawing also on the latest RDA Outputs and Recommendations.
Who are the training workshops for?
The workshops will benefit data professionals (e.g. data stewards, data librarians, data managers, etc.) and adjacent professionals with a role in FAIR research data management (e.g. research managers, research policy officers, privacy officers, etc.).
Why register?
RDA Europe collaborates with experienced trainers who deliver tried and tested content that can also be tailored to specific needs, aiming to support the growth and continued professional development of European data professionals. The workshops support active, practice-based learning, allowing participants to reflect on their current practice and immediately integrate newly developed skills and knowledge in their daily work.
Upon the successful completion, participants can receive a certificate of completion upon request.
