John Wood, Co-Chair of RDA and Chair of RDA Europe, has been nominated member of the Open Science Policy Platform. This Commission Expert Group has been set-up by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation to provide advice about the development and implementation of open science policy in Europe.

User-Driven Innovation for Digital Infrastructures for Research. Call for participation open!
Europe’s first conference on Digital Infrastructures for Research (DI4R 2016) is designed with research communities in mind and aims to foster the broader adoption of digital infrastructure services and promote user-driven innovation. DI4R2016, taking place in Kraków, on 28-30 September 2016, will be hosted by Academic Computer Centre CYFRONET and organised jointly by EGI, EUDAT, GÉANT, OpenAIRE and RDA Europe. All researchers, developers and service providers are invited to submit abstracts for presentations, training sessions, workshops and demonstrations through the Call for Participation, open until 3 June 2016.
