Data sharing is a difficult and laborious task. Bad use, abuse and misinterpretation of data are always behind the corner, while legal aspects and the lack of incentives at national level contribute to discourage Data sharing.

Session 10: The Italian Way to Data Management Plan

What concrete challenges are eInfrastructure and research infrastructures in Italy  facing to implement DMP in all disciplines? The outcome of this session will be an  overview of the state of the art in Italy, the identification of gaps and needs and a medium term plan of joint actions to be addressed to the Italian funding bodies and policy makers as well as to the Italian research actors.
