RDA Germany Meeting 2016, 28-29 November 2016, Potsdam, Germany
On 28 and 29 November 2016, the Third RDA Germany Meeting will again be hosted by the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam and will be organised by the Helmholtz Open Science Coordination Office. After the RDA-DE Training Workshop in May in Hamburg, a more broadly based RDA Conference now seems appropriate. Besides a status report on Research Data Alliance activities and interesting keynote lectures, the programme committee would like to facilitate the following activities during the conference:
- talks and posters by conference participants
- breakout sessions on various topics
- training courses, including expert and basic knowledge.
We are planning to invite experts for a list of possible topics given on the website. After the registration procedure for the conference will be enabled, participants can also submit abstracts for talks and posters with their registration. As last year, contributions on the broad subject of „data“ are welcome, especially with current examples of managing data in science and industry. According to the RDA programme, these contributions can deal with both technical and social aspects. The conference will be in German, contributions in English will be accepted too.
For further information about the programme, a list of participants and practical advice, please refer to the German version of the conference page.
