If you or your colleagues are interested in organizing a specific event in the near future, you may want to consider collocating it in conjunction with RDA during its (P14) in October 2019 in Helsinki, Finland.
At previous RDA plenaries, numerous organizations have opted to hold their own meetings at or nearby our meeting venue, leveraging the size and enthusiasm of the international data community present at each of those locations. P14 is sure to be another event that will be highly attended by its highly motivated membership. If your event will be focusing on showcasing your data-related work and/or synergizing with other data experts, collocating with P14 will provide you an excellent opportunity to meet these objectives.
To collocate with RDA for P14, simply submit your application before 20 May 2019 at 16:00 UTC.
The Organizing Committee will review all submissions and send out notifications of acceptance by 3 June 2019. Acceptance criteria will be based on room availability and impact of event as it relates to P14. Upon acceptance, you will be assigned a meeting room and your event will be promoted alongside the P14 program in all RDA communication channels.
Please note, catering or technical support will need to be coordinated by you with the event venue and there may be associated costs.
Again, space is limited, so not all submissions will be accepted by the Organizing Committee.
