RDA welcomes submissions for session proposals for its 11th Plenary meeting to be held in Berlin, Germany, from the 21 to the 23 March 2018.
The Working and Interest group breakout sessions are designed to provide an opportunity for discussion, sharing experiences and best practices, laying down concrete action plans. All Working and Interest groups are free to choose the format and workplan for their sessions while we strongly encourage the organisation of working meetings. Groups are also invited to submit joint meeting applications to explore potential synergies with other groups.
We encourage you to bring new topics to the RDA agenda! Make sure you submit an application for a Birds of a Feather session aimed at exploring new potential working or interest group topics. It will help you identify an audience, build support and start the work on your Case statement or Charter for an RDA Working or Interest group. It is the perfect framework to raise awareness and engage fellow researchers and data experts interested and motivated to start collaborating to address a common data challenge.

Please note that the we expect a high number of applications that will be submitted to a strict review process.
Only the accepted sessions are built into the programme for the 11th Plenary Meeting.

December 28, 2017 (17:00 UTC): Call for Session applications closes
January 31, 2018: Notification of acceptance
February 1, 2018: Final program published
March 21, 2018: 11th Plenary Meeting
