RDA’s 20th Plenary: Call for Sessions Close 31 October

Call for Sessions Closes 31 October (with no intent to extend deadline)!

The Research Data Alliance will celebrate their 10th anniversary plenary meeting on 21-23 March 2023 in Sweden. Following on from the success of the 19th Plenary meeting held in a hybrid format for the first time, P20 will take place in the Swedish second-largest city – Gothenburg.

Hosted by Chalmers University of Technology, the University of Gothenburg and the Swedish National Data Service (SND), a three-day hybrid conference will once again bring together researchers, data scientists, policymakers, and data stewards from disciplines from all over the world to share new ideas and explore best practices in using data. The Plenary will include all the main elements of our typical plenary event (breakout sessions, plenary sessions, networking events, and many more).

We invite you to submit your Plenary Sessions proposal by Monday, 31 October 2022

How to submit your session

All sessions will be held in a hybrid format (with no fully virtual sessions) at the venue and broadcast to the online participants via an online platform. In-person participation at the 20th Plenary is preferred and encouraged; however, we understand that travel restrictions and personal circumstances might still limit the ability of some attendees to join us in Sweden, and so we are offering ‘online only’ participation opportunities.

The submission process for the P20 has been slightly modified. This time, the submission form will include morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) blocks instead of breakouts with precise times. We will ask you to select your preferred day together with AM or PM time slot.

Repeat sessions will not be held during the 20th Plenary.

Importand dates:

Sessions submission deadline Monday, 31 October 2022
Notifications of Session Acceptance will be sent out by Thursday, 15 December 2022
