Raising FAIRness in health data and health research performing organisations
FAIRification of data has become a pressing concern for many researchers, whether retrospectively or prospectively. While the focus initially was on reserach from the life sciences, later spreading across all domains of research, health research data has complications due to patient confidentiality and other related factors (like ethical, legal and technical barriers). Here we present a proposal to address FAIR adoption disparities across the world through engagement and participation of the RDA community and beyond. This will take the shape of a working group and build upon, amongst others, the work of the FAIR4Health consortium, a pan-European project that aims to address these same issues in the EU context and also to deliver a platform that can be adopted by those HRPOs. The RDA WG would aim to achieve consensus and deliver a tangible output that can be adopted by HRPOs globally and we invite community participation.

This work seeks to align itself to some existing RDA groups and possibly adopt outputs. There may also be an ambition to create our own WG.
