Joint meeting of IG RDA/WDS Publishing Data Cost Recovery for Data Centres & IG Domain Repositories

 

 

At the last RDA Plenary in San Diego the IG Cost Recovery discussed the first preliminary outcomes of the in-depth interviews of some 25 data repositories around the globe. 

In Paris we will organise a joint meeting with the IG Domain Repositories to dig deeper into the results of survey on the funding of and cost recovery options for data repositories in a wider circle of stakeholders. 

In our discussions we would like to focus on a SWOT analysis of the different broad funding models for data centres: what are the hopes, fears and plans of the main stakeholders involved (data repositories and funders)?
