Must-See Sightseeing Near Kia Oval. Free Admission (5-35 minutes walking distance):
- Kennington Park (5 mins walk): large and attractive Victorian-era public park opened in 1854, with winding paths and peaceful atmosphere.
- Vauxhall City Farm (12 mins walk): meet farmyard animals including alpacas.
- Imperial War Museum (15 mins walk): exhibitions on wartime history.
- Thames Path (20 mins walk): Thames riverside walk with great city views. Head toward Westminster or London Bridge.
- Tate Britain (25 mins walk): British art from 1500 to present day, including the world’s largest collection of JMW Turner works.
- South Bank walk (30 mins walk): a vibrant riverside walk past some of London’s finest views including the National Theatre, London Eye, and Westminster.

- Science Museum: interactive galleries bringing science to life.
- V&A (The Victoria and Albert) Museum: founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, V&A is the world’s largest museum of applied and decorative arts.
- Natural History Museum: science research centre housing over 80 million natural history specimens, including specimens from Darwin.
- Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens (35 mins tube): one of London’s eight Royal Parks with royal connections and Victorian heritage at Kensington Palace, plus natural beauty for escaping the city.

Dining Areas / Food Markets:
- South Bank (35 mins walk / 17 mins tube): a dynamic area at the heart of London’s cultural scene with films, theatre, music, art, and dining options. There is always something happening in the South Bank.
- Borough Market (50 mins walk / 17 mins tube): one of the best known produce and street food markets around.
- Covent Garden (55 mins walk / 30 mins tube): a shopping and entertainment hub in London’s West End.
- Soho (60 mins walk / 25 mins tube): a place known for live entertainment, diverse dining, and vibrant nightlife.
