Visa and Destination

Visa requirements

Delegates are responsible for investigating visa requirements for entering the UK. Depending on your nationality, you may need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) or a visa.

Check if you need a visa

Check the official UK Visa guide https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa to see if you require a visa for entry into the UK. Visa processing times can vary, so begin exploring your options well in advance of your travel date.

Letters of Invitation

Letters of invitation are official documents confirming your registration and inviting you to attend RDA P27. These will only be provided to registered attendees who have paid registration fees. Please contact [email protected] for more details.

Visa Application Support

All questions regarding visa status should be directed to British immigration authorities in your home country. Please note that visa decisions are made solely by British immigration authorities, and the RDA P27 organising committee cannot influence or appeal these decisions.

Travel to London

London is well-connected by multiple airports and rail stations, making it easy to reach your destination.

London Airports 

London is served by six international airports which are well-connected to central London by public transport:

  • London Heathrow (LHR) and London Gatwick (LGW) – main hubs for long-haul flights;
  • London City (LCY) – closest to central London;
  • London Luton (LTN), London Stansted (STN), and London Southend (SEN) – hubs for budget airlines.

Getting to the Kia Oval (RDA P27 Venue)

P27 will take place at the Kia Oval, a venue for international cricket matches and events.

Address: The Kia Oval, 34 Kennington, London, SE11 5SS. Kia Oval is easily accessible by public transport:

BY UNDERGROUND

Take the Northern Line to the Oval tube station (100 metres on your left on leaving the station). Alternatively, take the Victoria Line to Vauxhall station (10-minute walk). 

BY BUS

Route numbers 36, 185 and 436 stop outside the venue. Routes 3, 59, 109, 133, 159, 333 stop within a 5-minute walk.

BY RAIL

Take South Western Railway trains to Vauxhall station (10-minute walk from the venue).
