Venue
The Kia Oval will be the venue for the Research Data Alliance (RDA) 27th Plenary Meeting (P27), taking place from 6-8 October 2026.
Established in 1845, the Oval is the home of Surrey County Cricket Club and a venue for international cricket matches. Located in Kennington, near the River Thames, Westminster and the West End, the Oval is also a unique and versatile venue for events in central London.
Venue Rooms
Seven rooms have been secured at the historic Kia Oval for P27 programme sessions. Spread across three floors and fully accessible by lift or stairs, these rooms combine 180 years of heritage with modern conference facilities.
Rooms range from 50 to 650 delegate capacity and have natural light, providing the perfect setting for the global research data community to collaborate.

- Ground Floor: registration, catering, exhibition, sponsorship area – Jardin Suite
- First Floor: breakout rooms – Pakistan Room, West Indies Room
- Second Floor: main Plenary room – England Suite |Breakout rooms – India Room, John Major Room
- Third Floor: breakout rooms – Double Executive Boxes 1 and 2
- Third Floor: Quiet and mothering rooms – available on the third floor for all attendees. These rooms are not for private meetings.
