RDA P27 Theme

Digital research infrastructures are essential to modern research and innovation. They connect researchers and innovators with the data, tools, computing resources, and skills needed to drive discovery. Under the theme ‘Shaping a global open research commons‘, the Research Data Alliance (RDA) 27^th Plenary Meeting (P27) will bring the global RDA community together to explore how we can collectively build a strong, connected, and sustainable open research ecosystem.

Data sits at the centre of research. Through collaborative sessions, participants will examine how national and international initiatives can be aligned, remove barriers to responsible data sharing, and develop continuity strategies that strengthen research resilience.

The plenary will focus on how we progress global collaboration and sustainability, while engaging the leadership essential to build and sustain an open research commons that supports research, society, and the economy. The plenary will be a place to reflect, connect and act on these increasingly pressing topics.  

Together, we will work toward making the global open research commons a reality.

Join us as the worldwide RDA community convenes in London to work with peers across disciplines and regions, share what works and help  shape the future of open research data in a time of rapid change and transformation.
