How to Register

Registering for P23 requires two steps: 1) Create an account. 2) Register.

Please read the below points carefully before beginning your registration, and consult our registration guide if you incur any issues:

  • All payments can be made with credit or debit cards or payable via an offline invoice. (Please note: invoice payments from abroad will incur an additional bank fee that vary depending on a country.)
  • Fees are listed and paid in US dollars.
  • Your can purchase multiply tickets from the same account. To do so, you must buy a ticket, log out, and re-enter again to buy another one. If you need to purchase multiple tickets on a single invoice, please contact [email protected].
  • A free guided city tour in San José is offered for the first 100 registered attendees. More details below.

In-person registration ticket covers:

  • Access to the event’s virtual platform Whova [hu:va] with programme’s live presentations and recorded materials.
  • Breakfast, lunch, and snacks during November 12-14, 2024.
  • Access to all scheduled P23 activities from November 12-14, 2024.

Additional elements

*A free guided city tour in San José is offered for the first 100 registered attendees. Tour date: 11 November 2024 at 18:00 CST/Local time. Once you complete your registration payment, you can choose to take advantage of our walking tour. Just fill out the form

*A social dinner is offered at an additional cost and will be held in the downtown of San José, Radisson Hotel on 13 November between 18:00-22:00 CST/Local time. The dinner will include a 3-cource meal with a drink. Registrants will be able to add-on a social dinner at the time of the registration or at a later date. You will have an option to add and pay for your partner too. To do so, please login to your account and add on ‘dinner’ ticket.

Virtual registration ticket covers:

  • Access to the event’s virtual platform, Whova, with programme’s live presentations and recorded materials.

Low and Middle Income Country (LMIC) Grant: CLOSED

P23 doesn’t have a specific registration fee for LMIC attendees. Instead, the local hosts and the RDA have secured an additional funding to support such category of attendees. We are delighted to launch a grant for the applicants who would like to attend the P23 from a – low, lower-middle, upper-middle income countries (LMIC country). The grant covers a full or partial financial contribution towards the P23 in-person or virtual registration fees.

Type of Grant: in-person and virtual attendance.

Application period: 6th August – 16th September, 2024.

  • Full or partial fee waiver depending on the possibilities of the Organizing Committee.
  • Applicants will be notified about the review outcome no later than 16th September, 2024.
  • Grants will be awarded according to a rubric that takes into account: country of residence, type of organisation in which they work, and projects in which they participate.
  • After attending P23, accepted applicants will be required to provide feedback to the RDA Secretariat on their experience (100-250 words). The feedback will be shared with the RDA community as a valuable resource.

Registration Privacy Policy and Cancellation

Once purchased, the RDA P23 tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes cancellations made by the ticket holder for any reason. If you are unable to attend the plenary, you may transfer* your ticket to another person.

Transfer Notification: You must notify the event organiser about the transfer of your ticket by emailing [email protected] with the subject ‘Ticket Transfer + the invoice number’.

Transfer Confirmation: The plenary organiser will confirm the transfer by email once the information has been verified. The transferred ticket will be valid for the new attendee.

Responsibility: You are responsible for coordinating and communicating any details related to the transfer directly with the person who will receive the ticket.
