- 13:00 – 16:00 CST | 19:00 – 22:00 UTC | Interoperability Frameworks in the Global Perspective: FAIR-IMPACT
The workshop invites reflection on Interoperability in global context. Bringing together global experts on research commons/ data commons/ science clouds, the workshop places Interoperability in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) in the context of other global models, projects, and infrastructures. Through presentations and open discussion, participants representing different global initiatives reflect on interoperability and learn from one another about the key challenges and possible solutions when developing data commons / data clouds and striving to make them interoperable.
Registration: this is an invitation-only event. Interested parties can contact the organizer, Liise Lehtsalu ([email protected]). More details and agenda - 14:00 – 18:00 CST | 20:00 – 00:00 UTC | DataCite Connect Costa Rica 2024 Co-located Event
Agenda and Registration page
The DataCite Connect event in Costa Rica provides a forum for discussion and networking for the RDA community. The session will discuss how persistent identifiers (PIDs) can be implemented to improve research data management, with a special focus on the FAIR principles and metadata best practices. Participants will learn about DataCite infrastructure, use cases and different repository systems that support PID and metadata integrations to comply with the FAIR principles. The session will include break-out groups and there will be plenty of time for Q&A and networking.
