Donations

As IDW is all about building legacy, we have two partners where you can contribute to our event theme: data for positive change – empowering communities and advancing research. Travelling to Australia requires considerable travel for many delegates and, in the spirit of social responsibility, a core principle of hosting IDW 2025 is a commitment to sustainability.

To help include everyone to have a seat at the table and participate in the important discussions at IDW 2025, we’re offering delegates the opportunity to contribute to a registration for a Low-Middle Income Countries (LMIC) grant.

You can donate directly through the registration form or via the IDW Secretariat directly with amounts ranging from $20 to a full LMIC registration valued at $400.

IDW 2025 is proud to support the regeneration of the Great Barrier Reef. We’ve partnered with the Reef Restoration Foundation whose core mission is to restore coral reefs, educate others on the importance of our oceans and use science to further coral research and reef monitoring techniques.

We’re inviting delegate and conference donations to create a “Data Week Reef” to help contribute to the restoration of the Great Barrier Reef. You can donate through the registration form or via the IDW Secretariat directly.
