IASSIST was founded in 1974 as an international non-profit organization to support research and teaching in the social sciences. Our members around the world work in information technology, libraries, data services, research & higher education, government, non-profit and private research sector to discover data, curate it, make it available, and keep it available.

The National Library of Ireland (NLI) is the library of record for Ireland established in 1877. The NLI collects and makes available the recorded memory of Ireland, caring for more than 10 million items, including books, newspapers, manuscripts, prints, drawings, ephemera, photographs and digital media.

AARNet is a critical national asset that enables Australian researchers to access institutional, national and international e-Infrastructure including the public Internet and software tools and resources such as scientific instruments, data storage, high performance computing, content and service providers.

Battelle's vision is to be a major force in science and technology discovery and in the translation of knowledge into innovative applications that have significant societal and economic impacts. Battelle is completing the construction of the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) for the National Science Foundation (NSF).
