RDA Technical Advisory Board
The Technical Advisory Board provides technical expertise and advice to the Council. It also assists in developing and reviewing RDA Working Groups to promote their impact and effectiveness. The Technical Advisory Board is responsible for the development, maintenance and evolution of the RDA Technical Strategy. There are 12 members of the TAB set up in phases, the first six members were appointed by the RDA Council, five more were elected after the Second Plenary in Washington. A final appointee was then made to bring greater regional balance across TAB. At the fourth Plenary in Amsterdam, four more members were elected to replace four of the appointees. The election in September 2015, will replace the last two appointees and two other elected members. There will then be a regular election every year for four members to serve three year terms.
