The KAUST & RDA
The University Library manages the research repository (http://repository.kaust.edu.sa/kaust/), with the mission to curate, preserve and provide open access to different university research output. Currently, it contains over 21,000 records, includes comprehensive collections of KAUST affiliated articles, conference papers, theses and dissertation, patent, etc. Also, the repository has many integrations both internally and externally.
Through the library's continues efforts to support the institution and the researchers by providing research services that enable better management of research outputs. In 2017, the Library established Research Data Management interest groups inspired by the RDA model, from which several RDM services emerged. By joining RDA, we believe this will enable us to expand our scope and services by working with peer institutions and RDA community and cop up with best practices globally.
