Cancellation of PaNSIG meeting in San Diego

by Frank Schluenzen

Dear colleagues, our original plans to hold a PaNSIG session at the RDA plenary in San Diego haven't worked out. Up to now, we had exactly two replies to the doodle posted earlier and the RDA participants list has only three registrants from the Photon and Neutron communities. In view of the presumed very sparse participation and conflicting sessions from related Interest Groups, we decided to postpone the PaNSIG session to the next plenary, which is supposed to take place in Paris in autumn later this year.

XRT - Computing for Light and Neutron Sources - Webinar Dec 10th

by Frank Schluenzen

Dear all,   I though it worthwhile to post some announcements about a series of webinars on the groups mailing list. The webinars (initiated by Amber) run under the label Computing for Light and Neutron Sources Forum (CLNSF). Apologies for the double-postings.      ---   The next CLNSF presentation and the last one for this year will be by Roman Chernikov from DESY on XRT - Ray Tracing in the X-ray regime

1st infos (test)

by Frank Schluenzen

Dear colleagues, consider this a kind of initial test of the RDA PaNSIG mailing list -- with some updates on the PaNSIG meeting in Dublin. The program for the RDA 3rd plenary has meanwhile be published: https://www.rd-alliance.org/plenary3/programme.html PaNSIG  got two slots in the tight RDA program, the first one on Wednesday, 26th of March 13:30-15:00, the second one on Friday, 28th 14:00-15:30. Brian Matthews will send out an updated PaNSIG agenda very soon.
