Next Web conference(s) scheduled
Hi all, The RDA Prov IG will meet next on the following TWO dates, with a goal of defining plans for sessions at P6. I have scheduled two dates so that we could get input from members in Australia, UK and US -- finding a good time for all 3 at once was impossible this time. Tue, Jun 16, 2015 6:00 PM EDT/ Wed Jun 17 2015 6:00 AM AEST https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/652972421 Wed, Jun 17, 2015 4:00 PM EDT/9:00 PM BST1 | Add new comment

Please complete the RDA future directions survey!
Apologies for cross-posting. Hi, as you may know, RDA is conducting the RDA future directions survey. We're hoping to reach 10% participation rate by the end of the month and membership input on what RDA should do in the future and how really matters. The survey can be found here https://rd-alliance.org/future-directions-rda-and-its-membership-involvement.html and it takes about 20min to fill out. Thanks!0 | Add new comment

by Nicholas Car
Dear All, Just a reminder that Expressions of Interest for both Papers and Extended Abstracts for the MODSIM 2015 conference in December on the Gold Coast which is holding a Research Data Provenance session are due tomorrow! All that is needed for tomorrow is a title and between 250 - 500 words describing the submission. The Papers and Extended Abstracts themselves are due in July.0 | Add new comment

MODSIM15 Research Data Proveannce - call for papers
by Nicholas Car
Dear RD-A Prov group, I am organising a session called "Research Data Provenance" for this year's Australian & New Zealand Modelling and Simulation conference, MODSIM, to be held at the Gold Coast in Queensland in December. This is, as far as I'm aware, the first conference session of any sort in Australia specifically about provenance as we know it in this group. MODSIM is a large and well respected conference that has seen a move from just being about pure environmental phenomena modelling to including information models, data management and now provenance modelling.0 | Add new comment
Poll for next Webconference
Hi all, I've created a doodle poll (hopefully with timezone support this time!) to try to schedule our next web conference. The agenda will be to review the happenings at P5 and talk about ideas for new work stemming from interactions with other RDA working and interest groups there. http://doodle.com/z9nx7unr76hxs84k Bridget0 | Add new comment
