RDA hackathon on maDMPs - community vote!

Dear all,
we would like to invite you to vote [1] on the outputs created in the RDA hackathon on maDMPs [2].
There were 12 teams, 71 participants, from 21 countries that worked with the RDA Common standard for machine-actionable DMPs to add support to existing tools, build novel integrations and define new mappings.
You can vote in 3 categories:
* Innovation - the most innovative use of the RDA Common Standard for maDMPs
* Collaboration - the most diverse team that brings various perspectives, stakeholders, etc.

RDA Hackathon on maDMPs

Dear all,
We would like to invite you to the hackathon on machine-actionable Data Management Plans (maDMPs).
The hackathon is open for everyone. As well as software developers we are looking for anyone with an interest in data - no technical knowledge is necessary - you might help with ideas generation, user testing, documentation etc.
The goal is to build integrations and test the common standard for maDMPs that is an official output of the RDA DMP Common Standards WG.

RDA DMP Common Standards - April Updates

Dear all,

JSON schema for the DMP Common Standard

Dear all,
We have published a JSON schema that corresponds to the version 1.0 of the DMP Common Standard. You can find it here:

We have also updated the JSON examples to ensure they are compliant with the specification and that the schema validates against them.
Special thanks to Sotiris Tsepelakis who developed the schema.

updates to the metadata application profile: ready for 1.0 release?

Dear DMP Common Standards Working Group,
Since the very useful meeting in Helsinki at the RDA Plenary, we have responded to some useful feedback and made some minor changes to the metadata profile. We believe that this is now ready for an 'official' release as version 1.0.
We have made the changes in a separate branch ('2019-11') in the Github repository, so these changes are not yet reflected on the default 'master' branch. However, you can see the latest version here:
