News from CODATA - the Beijing Declaration on research data

Many list members may be interested in this news item from CODATA and the
declaration to which it refers. The Declaration is a product of CODATA's data
policy committee (of which I am a member) and was refined and adopted at a
recent meeting in Beijing. It "... is intended as a timely statement of core
principles to encourage global cooperation, especially for public research data.
It builds on and acknowledges the many national and international efforts that

BoF + DSCC IN

Hi Mijke -
My colleague Hana is preparing an email announcing the International DSCC IN. We hope to send the email tomorrow.
We would like to broadly distribute the announcement, and thought it would be relevant for those who attend the BoF on Professionalizing DS.
We see the participants list from the BoF, and would like to send the announcement to them.
First however, we wanted to first check with you, and have your permission to distribute on your BoF list.
Is this ok?
Many thanks,
Cheers,
Erik
