EUDAT Semantic Working Group at RDA in BCN 3-4 April

Hi all!
The week in Barcelona promises to be rich! This workshop is of great interest to our work. The bad news is that it will be at the same time as the IGAD pre-meeting. I hope that the two programs will allow some of us to navigate from one to the other.
Best,
Sophie

Re: [SPAM] Re: [rda-agrisemantics-wg] Call #7 - Feb 3d 17:00 CET

Dear all,

Unfortunately I will not be able to participate in today's call because of an unforeseen familiar event.

I will contact Pascal as soon as possible to inform me about discussions and to align the work to be carried out, mainly regarding the literature review. I am interested in participating in the phases of analysis and visualization of the data collected in the bibliographic review.

Good afternoon to all and good work.

Abraços,

Ivo Pierozzi Junior

Hi Pascal, Sophie and Agrisemantic colleagues,

Happy new year to everybody!

Unfortunately I´ll not participate in tomorrow´s call. Next one, the
scheduled time is more suitable to me.

But, just to inspire us, a very fast and superficial visualization exercise
of bibliographic data on: “semantic” AND “agriculture”:

* Databases: Scopus (324 retrieved references) and
WoS-MainCollection (137 retrieved references)

* Visualization: VOSViewer

Re: [SPAM] Re: [rda-agrisemantics-wg] Resource/data life cycle

Erick, Simon,

Thank you very much! The question and the answer were very useful also to us!

At Embrapa, were are engaged to implement a data, information and knowledge governance model, where data management is one of the starting points... We separate the concept of "governance" from the concept of "management", but we try to maintain the whole (and ontological) conceptual route that interrelates them. Good (sub-)models for the units of this complex system are always welcome!

Best regards.

Resource/data life cycle

Hello,

I was wondering whether within any of the RDA initiatives there is any
guideline / document / or whatsoever on the data/resources life cycle? By
life cycle I mean the stages an piece of data (e.g. a
concept/class/instance in an ontology) could undergo such:

- under review,
- active (reviewed),
- obsolete (inactive?),
- ...

Any pointer would be highly appreciated.

cheers,
Erick Antezana
