Charter review status;Next meeting in January

Dear all, The community review of our new charter is over. Now the results will be delivered to Council who will either accept or reject our name change. We will inform about the results as soon  as possible. In January next year we will continue with our project shares. We have identified a couple of topics (and speakers) that illuminate various exciting perspectives of FAIR DO implementations. We are looking forward to meeting you again on the fourth Thursday of January 2022. all the best, Rainer

Dear all, Today we will have the presentation of Apache UIMA by Richard in the CWFR series. Richard provided some slides which may change slightly, the final version can be distributed after the meeting if necessary. RDA DFIG: Revised Charter and Name Change

Dear RDA Secretariat, dear DFIG members, We would like to change the name of our RDA IG Data Fabric to RDA IG FAIR Digital Object Fabric. For that we have drafted a new charter, see attachment, that has been under internal DFIG review for two weeks. Thanks a lot for your support and contributions. The attached version incorporates many of the suggestions. Charter IG FAIR Digital Object Fabric

Dear Members of the RDA IG Data Fabric, We would like to change the name of our RDA IG Data Fabric to RDA IG FAIR Digital Object Fabric. For that we have drafted a new charter. Please help us finalizing the charter. The IG Data Fabric was originally founded in 2013 with the scope to harmonize and to orchestrate RDA’s core components for a data infrastructure. Over the years one of the group’s topics shifted more and more to the introduction and specification of FAIR Digital Objects as an overarching concept building up research data infrastructures.
