EUXDAT Infrastructure Webinars

Dear friends
EUXDAT developed e-Infrastructure for analysis of Agriculture and
Environment Related Data. All solution is based on Open Source and Open
Standards. Migration of infrastructure from one cloud to others
demonstrated, that this solution is easily transferable and could be
replicated. We are now running a series of Webinars about infrastructure and
also pilot implementations. Introduction of infrastructure was done on
Monday

COVID19 INSPIRE Hackathon 2020: Invitation to Challenges

we would like to inform you that COVID19 INSPIRE Hackathon 2020 organized by Plan4all and CCSS offers to its participants a wide range of challenges aiming to help the agri-food economy to recover from COVID19 crisis. Session Proposal Submission

Dear Agricultural Data Interest Group (IGAD) members, thank you for your session proposal for Virtual Plenary 16 titled “Interest Group on Agricultural Data (IGAD) Meeting”.

 

A review of all submitted proposals is now underway by the RDA Technical Advisory Board, with notifications of acceptance planned to be sent by 26 September.

Ethical dimensions of Digital Feudalism in Agriculture

Dear colleagues,

 

The increasing use of digital technology in agriculture has marked the start of a major transformation: Better services and products, innovations, enhanced decision making and increased profitability and productivity. But do small holder farmers really benefit equally, or even at all, from the benefits of data sharing? Moreover, do all stakeholders in the agricultural sector have the same access and control to these insights? What concerns do farmers have on such issues as data ownership, access and control, security and privacy?[1]
