IGAD preliminary agenda

Dear IGAD participants,
I am happy to share with you the preliminary agenda of the next IGAD meeting in Philadelphia on 1 April:

Thank you for this information and excellent updates .I can promote the remote hackathon/ideatlon for Africa through the GODAN networks and community. This is excellent synergies for the IGAD Capacity Development WG .

I have appologise, but from time reason, I am not able to come now to
Philadelphia. But we are now in relation to running and new projexct
starting new activities. One from planning activities is to organize remote
hackathon/ideatlon for Africa. It will be remote work for two months and
we plan to present results on IST Africa conference in Nairobi.

Related CODATA taskgroup

The IGAD might be interested to know that a Task Group on Agriculture Data, Knowledge for Learning and Innovation was endorsed by the CODATA General Assembly in Gaborone in October - http://www.codata.org/task-groups/agriculture-data
Perhaps you already have contacts, though I don't see any mention of RDA in the TG blurb.
Note that primary participation in the CODATA group is from Africa, which complements the stronger focus on Asia from the RDA group.
