RDA Webinar Series in Agriculture: ‘Global Join now the IGAD Webinar_Global long-term Experiments in Agriculture Network (GLTEN) Metadata Portal’ by Richard Ostler - 20 November 2019

At the last IGAD/RDA Plenary Meeting 14 at the University of Helsinki (Finland) last month, the Agricultural Data Interest Group (IGAD) agreed to start a webinar series to enable high quality presentations and discussions to happen even if we cannot all be together in person at RDA. The Agricultural Data Interest Group (IGAD) exists to facilitate coordination and progress among a community of international data experts. These webinars will allow us keep up with cutting edge developments in agricultural data, and will encourage the free flow of ideas.

Post-doctoral researcher on application of data science to food and agriculture

The below position is very much in the spirit of this mailing list, most of the work will concern agrifood research data, application of FAIR principles, agrifood metadata etc.
Position is initially for one year but funding is available for up to three years. Feel free to forward to interested parties.
Post-doc position available, at the Institute of Data Science, Maastricht University, working on data science in agrifood.

The deadline for group session submissions for Plenary 15 is 28 November 2019, midnight UTC – just two weeks away.

If your group is interested in submitting a session for a working group, interest group or joint meeting session, submissions will only be accepted from your group chairs, so be sure to coordinate with them to ensure proper communication of the submission.
