Meta-data in the EU MACSUR Knowledge Hub Project

Dear Professor Greenberg,
I am currently working at Aberystwyth University, as one of the theme coordinators within the EU MACSUR (Modelling Agriculture with Climate Change for Food Security) knowledge hub project. Central to our work (some details in the following lines) is the sharing of meta-data as a first step towards collaboration, which is why I am contacting you.

Linking Geospatial Data, 5 - 6 March 2014, London

Dear colleagues,
First of all, my apologies if you receive this message more than once.
I would like to draw your attention on an upcoming workshop on "Linking
Geospatial Data", jointly organised by W3C, OGC, the UK Government, and
Ordnance Survey:
This event may be of interest not only for geo experts: it's about linking
geo data with other data (not necessarily geo). In other words, this
concerns also cross-domain interoperability of geo/location information.

It is noticeable that the case statement and planned work has considerable overlap with MIG and also MSDWG (Metadata Standards Directory WG).
