Re: [rda-datacitation-wg] Next RDA WGDC Adoption Webinar: Carlo Maria Zwölf / VAMDC :...

Dear all,
we are again experiencing the same organizer-login issues as last time.
We already contacted RDA to find somebody with the master password to
launch the wbeinar: both Carlo-Maria and myself can only enter as
participants in spite of being assigned organizer roles.
I hope to receive a response soon, please stand by...

Data Versioning Breakout Session at the 9th Plenary in Barcelona

Dear all
Data Versioning is a component of Dynamic Data citation. However, there are no specifics for best practices for data versioning, particularly for large volume multi-terabyte and even petabyte scale data sets.ersioning procedures and best practices are well established for scientific software and can be used enable reproducibility of scientific results. Are these suitable for data sets or do we need a separate suite of practices for data versioning? Ultimately versioning will need to be attached to persistent identifiers.

Data Citation WG in Barcelona

Dear members,
As Andy is travelling (*), I need to check up on the P9 (Barcelona) preparations.
We have booked as session on 5th of April at 14:00
As the WG is in maintenance mode, we mostly would collect experiences, issues and experiences related to the WG recommendations. Please let me know if you have a case to present. We can also have presentations from the cases presented in Denver, as many did not get to participate there.
Also other ideas or recommendations are welcome.
Best regards,
Ari
