On 18th September, our Community Development Manager, Connie Clare, will go on maternity leave until March 2027. The entire RDA community wishes Connie all the best with her leave – she will be missed!
As part-time cover, we are delighted to welcome Community Development Manager, Ingvill Constanze Ødegaard, to the RDA Foundation for the next seven months.
Ingvill will coordinate dedicated community focused activities on various topics of interest, including Community Cross-fertilisation Workshops, the Ambassadors–TAB Collaboration Initiative, and the Newcomers Session at RDA’s 27th Plenary, alongside ongoing support for online Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions and RDA in a Nutshell communications.
Ingvill is a political scientist with a PhD in German politics and habilitation on children born of war. She led the EUROLAB at GESIS-Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences for decades and has served as vice president for research and professor at the CBS University of Applied Sciences, where she is still affiliated as an honorary professor. Ingvill has been active in the RDA since 2014, when she founded the Data for Development Interest Group and later co-chaired the RDA for the Sustainable Development Goals Interest Group. From 2019- 2020, she was an RDA ambassador for the Sustainable Development Goals.
