RDA Europe is pleased to announce that the call for contributions for the RDA Europe Annual Summit has been extended until 1 September 2025 (23:59 CEST). Read more below on how you can take part.
About the RDA Europe Summit
Taking place at CNRS, 3 Rue Michel Ange, 75016 Paris, Auditorium Marie-Curie, the event will provide a dedicated forum for current and prospective European RDA regions and their members to address challenges and solutions at both national and pan-European levels, and discuss RDA’s role and priorities within the broader European landscape. It will also offer an opportunity to address key topics relevant to the European RDA community, through the lens of the RDA and to advance its impact across Europe.
The inaugural Summit will feature the theme of ‘Weaving the RDA Tapestry: From Community Insights to Collective Action’. It will deliver a rich programme shaped by RDA European community contributions in the form of lightning talks and posters, as well as a regional roundtable with topics for discussion selected in collaboration with the European RDA regional representatives.
Registration is free of charge and open to all.
Call for Contributions
We are delighted to invite community contributions in the form of lightning talks and posters. All contributions will be evaluated by the programme committee (see below for details).
There will be two event tracks:
Track 1: RDA regional success stories
We invite poster and lightning talk submissions that showcase European regional successes, initiatives and solutions in Open Science.
Example submissions can address (but are not limited to):
- Community building initiatives.
- Use of RDA Outputs to address regional challenges or concerns.
- Lessons learned and shared approaches between regions.
Track 2: RDA in Europe Use Cases
If you, your project, or organisation is using the RDA as a forum to develop research data-related solutions, we want to hear from you! Submissions are invited from EC-funded projects, libraries, research performing organisations, industry, researchers and research infrastructures. Example submissions can address (but are not limited to):
- Use and adoption of RDA Outputs to facilitate solutions developed in an EC-funded project
- Use and adoption of RDA Outputs to address challenges or concerns at an institutional level (including adoption by those who were involved in the original development of the Output).
- Implementation of RDA Outputs in individuals’ workflows.
For further details on the event, and to access the submission forms, see the RDA in Europe Summit event page.
