RDA COVID-19 Recommendations and Guidelines for Data Sharing: How STM Publishers can Contribute
STM Publishers are important stakeholders in the endeavours of the RDA. STM, the International Association of STM Publishers, as one of RDA’s organisational members, wishes to support the wider adoption and implementation of the RDA COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines for FAIR data sharing. The published guidelines and recommendations will be made part of the STM 2020 Research Data Year.

Today, 30 June 2020, the Research Data Alliance publishes the final version of the RDA COVID-19 Recommendations and Guidelines for Data Sharing covering four research areas – clinical data, omics practices, epidemiology and social sciences. This document is also complemented by overarching areas focusing on legal and ethical considerations, research software, community participation and indigenous data.
The International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA) and World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA) are delighted to announce International Data Week 2023: A Festival of Data, taking place on 23–26 October 2023, in Salzburg, Austria.
RDA Global Adoption Week: 15-19 June 2020
The adoption session, originally planned for Plenary 15, is now turning into a global adoption week scheduled from 15 to 19 June 2020. The aim remains to demonstrate the wide variety of adoptable and adopted solutions to data sharing challenges that people in the field encounter in their daily jobs.
