In order to enhance the plenary experience, RDA Working and Interest Group chairs have identified nine “pathways”, or themes, to assist Virtual Plenary 18 (VP18) attendees in planning their schedules. Attendees can now simply identify the most relevant pathways, learn about the meeting objectives and begin creating a preliminary schedule.
The RDA “Discipline-specific Guidance for DMPs” Working Group is developing or adapting discipline-specific recommendations for DMPs and would like your input on this topic. They would appreciate if you could spend 15 minutes or so to complete a survey, which would help them create the catalog for your discipline.

The RDA has opened an application process to identify a specialised website design and development company to manage, re-design, develop and maintain a new web platform that enables global collaboration among its users / community while promoting the values of the organisation.

In April 2020, a European legal entity (Research Data Alliance (RDA) Association AISBL) was established to support the coordination and growth of the European RDA community, currently over 6,000 members. These new positions offer the selected candidates an opportunity to continue the growth of the organization and ensure the value of European members in a global alliance.
The RDA Virtual Plenary 18 (VP18) draft programme is now available at https://www.rd-alliance.org/rdas-18th-plenary-meeting-programme, with a revised plenary date of 3-11 November 2021.
