Now in its 12th edition, the RDA Europe Early Career programme has become a platform for early career researchers working with data to share ideas, experiences and practical advice.
Under the theme “Data Makes the Difference”, the 14th Plenary meeting of the Research Data Alliance will explore researchers’ abilities to use data in making a positive impact in the world’s complex challenges. Whether this is your first plenary meeting or you are an RDA expert, here is your guide through the Plenary in Helsinki.
We are pleased to announce that we will be bringing the poster competition back to P14, after receiving a number of great submissions. This time, voting will be opened to all attendees.
On the first day of the plenary, an online voting form will be circulated and participants will be asked to vote for their five favourite posters. At the end of Day 2, we will collect responses and announce the top three places, who will each receive a prize! The announcement will be made at the social dinner at Tapahtumatalo Bank Restaurant.
Following on from the announcement of funding for eight projects following an Adoption Open Call earlier this year, RDA Europe 4.0 is pleased to give an update on their progress so far. Activities for all eight projects are underway and over the coming weeks and months we will look to highlight the aims and achievements of each one.
RDA is pleased to announce the candidates nominated for the 2019 Technical Advisory Board (TAB) election. For members not familiar with TAB, this RDA governance group provides technical expertise and advice to RDA Council, and assists in the development, review and promotion of RDA Working & Interest Groups.
