Message from RDA to Plenary 15 Registrants
Dear RDA Plenary 15 Registrants,
It is hard to believe that in less than three weeks, we will be together in beautiful Melbourne, Australia. According to our local hosts, the weather is wonderful, as is the programme itself. We are extremely excited and grateful to all of you for making the commitment to travel to this amazing city and attend Plenary 15 (P15).
We do want to ensure you that both the P15 Organising Committee and the RDA Secretariat are actively monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19. Although we understand there may be concerns related to travel as a result of this evolving situation, please know that your safety is a top priority and that we are working closely together to ensure a safe event.
If the situation changes drastically in these next two weeks leading to the Plenary, we will inform you immediately. However, we fully anticipate P15 will be a successful event for our community.
At this time, we are approaching 350 registered attendees, which aligns with our registration trends for previous meetings and meets our attendance goal for this event.
To read more information about the situation in Australia as it pertains to COVID-19, please refer to the health alert issued from the Australian government Department of Health at https://www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov....
In the coming days, we will be sending attendees more detailed information regarding the programme, local travel and tips, etc. In the interim, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On behalf of the P15 Organising Committee and RDA, we thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you next month in Melbourne.
All the best,
Yolanda, on behalf of the RDA Secretariat
