Varsha Khodiyar

Dr Varsha Khodiyar works on research data publishing initiatives as part of Springer Nature’s Research Data team. She has over 15 years of experience as a research data curator, having worked as a curator for the Human Genome Project and the Gene Ontology project. Varsha has four years of Masters Level teaching experience, having developed and delivered an MSc module on data curation for University College London. Varsha has also designed and delivered data curation training via 2-day workshops to academics at all stages of their careers (PhD students to tenured Professors). With her previous editorial and data curation responsibilities for the Nature Research journal, Scientific Data, Varsha is very familiar with the issues currently being faced by academics when sharing and publishing research data.
