As a machine learning researcher, Thomas’s focus is at the nexus of climate change (mitigation and adaptation) and artificial intelligence. He is a member of the U.S. Technology Policy Committee of the Association for Computing Machinery. Furthermore, Thomas is an active member of IARPC Collaborations.
