Hari Prasad Nepal

Hari Prasad Nepal is a PhD candidate in Educational Sciences at the University of Porto, Portugal, with a research focus on transformative learning, social justice, and academic success among non-traditional students. He holds two master’s degrees in Public Administration and Educational Planning and Management from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and has completed doctoral coursework at the University of Tartu, Estonia, and Kathmandu University, Nepal.

Hari brings over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic development, having served as a lecturer at Hetauda School of Management and a learning facilitator at Aksharaa School in Kathmandu. His research contributions span educational equity, curriculum reform, and inclusive pedagogies, and he has presented at international conferences across Europe and Asia.

He is actively engaged in Open Science and data-sharing initiatives, having participated in European summer schools on data science and research communication. Hari’s current doctoral project—a comparative study between Nepal and Portugal—explores institutional strategies for supporting disadvantaged learners and fostering resilience in higher education. Fluent in multiple languages and deeply committed to global collaboration, Hari aims to contribute to inclusive educational policies and practices through evidence-based research and international engagement.
