I am the Data Architect for DiSSCo (Distributed System for Scientific Collections) -- a new pan-European research infrastructure project. We are working with European museums and natural science collections to create a data-driven research infrastructure to mobilise, unify and deliver bio - and geo-diversity information. I am working closely together with the international research community to design infrastructure and data services that fit real science needs, and are cutting-edge in the global research infrastructure landscape.

My background is in designing, implementing, and managing various large scale and distributed mission-critical systems, services, and applications. Over the past few years, I have worked with several large scale research data and computing infrastructures in Europe and in the USA. My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Sociology.
