Sara Garavelli

Sara Garavelli works as Strategic European Engagement and Coordination Development Manager at CSC – IT Center for Science in Finland. As part of her portfolio she is responsible for the CSC engagement in initiatives related to the European Data Strategy implementation, including the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), AI Factories, Data Spaces and Digital Twins. Sara also serves as Director for the EOSC Association (2022-2027). Sara has more than fifteen years of experience in the area of stakeholder engagement and international collaboration in the research and education landscape. Sara joined CSC in 2020. Previously she was Senior Project Manager at Trust-IT Services where she acted as coordinator of the RDA Europe 4.0, the European plug-in to the Research Data Alliance, project. Sara holds a BSc Telecommunications degree and a Master’s degree in logistics and organization for industry and commerce.
