Raymond Uzwyshyn

Currently, I am Director of Research and Technology Services for the University of California at Riverside Libraries and have variously served as Research Impact Coordinator/Full Professor, MSU, Director of Digital, Web and & Research Collections for Texas State University Libraries, Director, American Public/American Military University (APUS, APU/AMU) , Online Libraries & eLearning, Head, Digital and Learning Technologies for the University of West Florida and Web Services Librarian, University of Miami.I help people understand, develop, implement and obtain value from research, technology and AI through their libraries, companies, research, personal needs and data. I advise on new technologies, innovation, and possibilities for businesses, institutions, libraries and universities.

Innovation, implementation across universities, research libraries: academic, business and entrepreneurial environments. I possess a Ph.D. (NYU, Media Studies), MBA (IT Management) and Masters of Library and Information Science (University of Western Ontario), MA (NYU, Film History/Theory/Visual Semiotics) and BA, Adv English Literature and Writing, UM). What this means is that I have both very strong analytic (left brain) and creative (right brain) skills and can integrate them both on very high levels for both creative and analytic projects and implementation and can create world class projects, publish and present on them and lead and see the big picture on larger levels. At the same time, I can manage large complex projects very successfully on award winning levels and finish them in scope, in budget and on time.
