In the department "Data Exploitation Methods" (DEM) within the Scientific Computing Center (SCC) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), we are developing efficient and sustainable research data infrastructure. Reliability and quality through compliance with the FAIR principles are essential factors of good (meta-) data.
My research focuses on enabling automated machine-actionability through FAIR Digital Objects (FAIR-DOs). FAIR-DOs are a harmonized representation and information entry point for (meta-) data beyond the borders of data spaces. I am currently working on realizing FAIR-DO Operations to enable automated processing of FAIR-DOs.
