Johannes Reetz
Johannes Reetz received a PhD in natural sciences from the University of Munich (LMU) in 1999. He worked at the LMU observatory (data reduction and analysis software for astrophysical high res spectroscopy, 1993-1999), the ESO Data Management Division (data aquisition/reduction/calibration, 1999), and since 2000 at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, initially developing software for the data acquisition and storage for nuclear fusion experiments. Since 2004 at MPCDF (formerly RZG) he was engaged in the European HPC project DEISA (2004-2011), in German national e-infrastructure projects (D-GRID, DARIAH-DE, CLARIN-D), the German priority initiative "digital information" (2018-2022) and the EC-funded research data infrastructure projects EUDAT (2012-2018), EOSC-hub (2018-2021), DICE (2021-2023) as well as RDA Europe. Johannes was acting as EUDAT operations coordinator from 2012 - 2022.
