Jenny Evans

My current role is to lead the development of systems, services and support for researchers and doctoral students, putting the user experience at the centre of any support we provide and making systems interoperable wherever possible.

One key area of interest is how we better support practice-based researchers (and capture, archive and make their research discoverable). We have been developing a repository at Westminster that is able to capture this 'non-text' research, its documentation while recognising that it is a dynamic collection that needs updating. Now that we are capturing this content in our repository we are now looking at how we might enable existing standards (such as Datacite and ORCID) work in a more useful way for this community and how to work with the international community to update schema for these outputs. Please do get in touch if this is of interest to you!
