Javier Lopez Albacete
Physicist. For over 15 years I have worked on research on theoretical high-energy physics, with emphasis in the interpretation of experimental data from accelerator facilities, as HERA, RHIC or the LHC. Since I graduated at Universidad de Cordoba, I have made pre and postdoctoral stays at CERN, The Ohio State University, Institut de Physique Theorique (CEA) or CNRS. Since 2017 I am on leave from my Associate Professor position at Universidad de Granada to serve as scientific officer at the European Research Council first and, since Dec 2021, as policy officer in the Open Science unit of the European Commission.
