Curtis Sharma

Curtis is currently Engagement Coordinator with SPARC Europe. He previously led Work Package 6 of the Skills4EOSC project (Sep 2022 - August 2025) “Professional Networks for Lifelong Learning”, which focused on creating new networks for data professionals across Europe. These networks include data steward networks, thematic FAIR Data networks and open science networks. The work package also harmonised new and existing data steward networks, under the umbrella of the RDA Professionalising Data Stewardship Interest Group. Prior to joining the Skills4EOSC project, Curtis was the Research Data Coordinator at University of Cambridge. His research background is in psycholinguistics and he is currently investigating cognitive and social associations between multilingualism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder at University of Oslo.
