Chokri Ben Romdhane

Chokri Ben Romdhane is an IT Senior Analyst and Head of Department at CNUDST. He spearheaded the implementation, alongside the CNUDST team, of PIST, the first Tunisian open repository. This project was completed in collaboration with CERN, several Tunisian universities, and other universities across the Maghreb region.In 2011, Chokri co-founded the Tunisian Open Access Group with a team of researchers. The group advocates for open access principles and promotes their adoption within the Tunisian research community. It organizes several key events, including Open Access Study Days, Open Access Week, and the International Conference on Open Access (ICOA).Chokri also serves as a Board Member of the Arab Community for Open Access (ACOA), where he is active in promoting open access across the Arab region and helps organize the Arab Open Access Week.Additionally, he is a certified Open Science Instructor within the SKILS4EOSC project.
