Alex Delipalta

Alex Delipalta is the Director of the RDA Grants Section, the new department within the Research Data Alliance tasked with the acquisition, administration and implementation of grants and funded projects.

Alex holds a BA in English Language and Literature, and an MSc in Developmental Liguistics. She worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Speech Technology Research (CSTR), Edinburgh University for three years before joining the Digital Curation Centre, where she held multiple roles over six years, including  those of Research Project Specialist and Strategy and Operations Specialist. Alex was part of the RDA Secretariat from 2018 - 2022 working on plenary organisation and communications. She joined RDA Europe in late 2022 as Communication and Engagement officer, where she lead related work in the organisation's Horizon Europe projects. Alex was appointed Director of the European RDA office in December 2023.
