Agapiti Manday is the Executive Director of Tanzania Data Lab. Tanzania Data Lab (dLab) is a world class data and innovation lab that harnesses the potential of the data revolution and the fourth industrial revolution in solving local, regional, and global sustainable development challenges through data and innovation. Agapiti is an alumna of International Development Innovation Alliance (IDIA) on Managing Innovations for Impact https://www.idiainnovation.org/. He is a Co-founder of the Tanzania Data Lab (www.dlab.or.tz) and former Project Director for the Data for Local Impact Innovation Challenge-DLIIC (https://dliic.dlab.or.tz/).

Agapiti is passionate at envisioning, creating and tailoring solutions to challenging community pinpoints. He is a technologist and an enthusiast of data, science, innovation, growth, and social change. He believes in investing in people, ideas, and technology. Agapiti has years of management experience with excellent strategic and operational experience with private institutions, NGOs and INGOs overseeing complex multi sector/multi-donor portfolios and missions.

He maintains a keen intellectual and professional interest in using data Science for social good, supporting entrepreneurial ventures, delivering value to society using technology, developing, and enabling data science for mass market usage, influencing people positively to unlock their potential and being of benefit to mankind.
